This is a beautiful campground in the juniper zone with many spacious sites. It's lightly used compared to Page Springs, so it's typically quieter. Also, there are few or no mosquitoes when Page Springs is swarming!
This is my favorite campsite near the Steens. It is clean, has lots of room and a woodsy appeal.
We didn't camp in the main campground - it didn't look very pretty. We stopped for a picnic at the horse camping section - there's lots more room over there. Saw lots of Townsend's Solitaires.
